Jennifer S. Roach, Esq., President

Jennifer S. Roach, Esq. – President
Jen earned a degree in Economics from Duke University in 1997 and her J.D. from Northwestern University.  She is a partner in the Competition, Antitrust & White-Collar Crime and Business Litigation practice groups at Thompson Hine LLP. She focuses her practice on litigating unfair competition issues and providing advice and guidance to clients on distribution, franchise, antitrust and unfair competition matters. Jen and her husband have three Newfoundlands and regularly take them to nursing homes and libraries on therapy dog visits. 

Jill Dugovics, Vice President
Jill Dugovics, Esq. – Vice President
Jill is a Vice President and Senior Fiduciary Advisor with Hawthorn PNC Family Wealth. She manages fiduciary matters for multi-generational families and entrepreneurs. She earned her Bachelor of Arts degrees in Psychology and Corrections and her Juris Doctor from Cleveland Marshall College of Law.  Jill is the Finance Chair for Faith United Church of Christ, a member of the Estate Planning Council of Cleveland and the Ohio State Bar.  

 

Alisa Taddeo, DVM

Alisa Taddeo, DVM
Alisa earned her B.S. in biology from Cleveland State University and received her DVM from the Ohio State University in 2000. She has been working in private practice for twelve years, the last six at Lyndhurst Animal Clinic. Alisa’s special interests include spay/neuter and other soft tissue surgery and dentistry. She has also been a part-time surgeon on the Petfix mobile clinic since 2006. She is a single mother of two boys and a girl whose hobbies include vegan cooking and baking, reading, Pilates and playing with her children and dog, Riley.

Linda Mitchell, DVM

Linda Mitchell, DVM, graduated from The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 1998, fulfilling a lifelong dream that started when she was 5 years old. She graduated from Lordstown High School in 1986 and earned her BA from Hiram College, graduating Summa Cum Laude in 1990. After graduating from The Ohio State University, she worked in a local vet hospital for 4 years. In September 2002, Dr. Mitchell started Rainbow Mobile Vet Clinic. After 2 years of mobile practice she expanded to the stationary clinic. Dr. Mitchell lives in the Heights area with her two dogs, Ripley and Bug and three cats, Buddy, Barley and Skittle.

Mark Fazio

Rachel A. Margulis, CPA/PFS -- Treasurer
Rachel is a Certified Public Accountant with over 10 years of experience in the wealth management industry. She is currently an Advisor at Fairport Asset Management, supporting multiple client teams in the preparation of client core deliverables, income tax planning and compliance, estate planning and forward-looking financial planning. Before joining Fairport in 2008, Rachel worked at MAI Wealth Advisors as a Tax Associate. She earned a B.B.A. with a concentration in accounting from Cleveland State University and she was certified as a Personal Financial Specialist in 2015. Rachel is a volunteer tax preparer with the Cuyahoga Earned Income Tax Credit Coalition, providing free tax preparation for low and moderate income families. She lives on the east side with her two cats, Sanka and Johnny Cash.

Nicole Pontius – Secretary
Nicole has been in the marketing communications profession since 2005. She is currently the Marketing Communications Manager for Camcode, a global manufacturer of asset tracking solutions. Nicole earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications from the University of Toledo in 2003 and a Master of Arts in Mass Communication from Kent State University in 2013. A life-long animal lover, Nicole is dedicated to animal-welfare causes. She and her husband have one son and one cat.
 

Heather Lipnis
Heather graduated with a B.S. in Accounting from Miami University. She worked at Deloitte and Touche and is currently at CBRE where she is the controller for the Key Bank account. Heather is the founder and president of Canine Cuties and has been involved in animal rescue and rehabilitation for 21 years.


 



Katy Franz

Katy joined Eaton Corporation as Environmental, Health, and Safety Counsel in 2017, where her practive includes counseling on all aspects of environmental and safety compliance, remediation, environmental litigation, product stewardship, and real estate. Prior to joining Eaton, Katy practiced environmental law at the Clevland office of Squire Patton Boggs (US) LLP. Katy is a Cleveland native and a graduate of John Carroll University (B.A.) and William and Mary Law School (J.D.). She is an active member of the Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Association and also serves on the Board of Lake-Geauga Recovery Centers. Katy is a nature enthusiast and the proud pet-parent of a rescue dog, CJ. 



Persis Sosiak
Persis is the Commissioner for the Division of Health at the Cleveland Department of Public Health. Prior to joining CDPH in 2016, Persis spent 11 years in a variety of roles at Cleveland Clinic including Senior Director, Department of Public Health and Research. She also served in a clinical capacity as a registered nurse and infection preventionist. Before returning home in 2005, Persis lived in the Washington, DC area and worked for the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health; the US Senate; the Alexandria Health Department; and the American International Health Alliance. Persis' educational credentials include a B.A. from The George Washington University; a Master of Public Health from Yale University; and a B.S. in Nursing from George Mason University. Persis and her husband live in Lakewood and are the proud parents of a rescue dog (Chloe) and rescue cat (Rocky).
