Announcement: Due to a temporary veterinarian shortage at PetFix, we are not able to accept community cats in traps right now. We will try and let everyone know when we can resume our regular surgery schedule. We apologize for the inconvenience. See here for alternate spay/neuter resources.
On October 1 we will be able to open a limited number of appointments for kittens (<5 mo) and for dogs younger than 2 years and under 45 lbs. These can be booked through the PetFix website only. Thank you for your patience as we navigate the temporary vet shortage at our clinic.
SPAY IT FORWARD
A Campaign to Open a Second PetFix Northeast Ohio Clinic

On the first day of each month, PetFix Northeast Ohio opens spay/neuter appointments for three months into the future - and they fill within 48 hours. Our Euclid clinic is at full capacity - and it’s not enough.
That’s why we’re opening a Second Clinic in Garfield Heights, where access to low-cost spay/neuter is urgently needed. We’ve secured a building (pictured). We have the plan. Now we need you.
We are launching Spay it Forward: A Capital Campaign to fund the purchase of the new building as well as the equipment we need to make it fit for purpose.
We’ve already performed 130,000+ surgeries, preventing hundreds of thousands of unwanted litters.
-
Double our surgery capacity to 20,000+ animals annually
-
Reduce wait times and prevent accidental litters
-
Reach more pets in underserved neighborhoods
-
Help shelters and rescues adopt out animals faster and reduce euthanasia
By acting now, you will help PetFix:
-
Renovate the new space into a fully functioning spay/neuter clinic
-
Purchase critical surgical and medical equipment
-
Save the lives of thousands of cats and dogs in our community
This is your chance to be part of a life-saving solution—to “Spay it Forward” and build a more humane Northeast Ohio. Thank you!
