Special Announcement: Beginning March 1, all community cats (stray, outdoor, feral cats) coming to PetFix without an appointment, must arrive in a humane trap. Cats that are socialized with humans, can be picked up and put into a pet carrier and that can reliably be brought to PetFix on a specific date, must have an appointment. We will do our very best to get friendly "at risk" cats an appointment as soon as possible. See details here.
Transport Services
Transportation for Pet Owners
PetFix works with local partners to provide affordable, accessible spay/neuter surgeries to pets in their communities. PetFix Partners schedule the PetFix transport van to come to secure, convenient locations within their community on a regular basis. They advertise surgery dates, schedule clients, and collect fees.
If you live in Ashtabula County, Geauga County or in the city of Cleveland and need help with transportation of your pet to our clinic for spay/neuter surgery, please contact our partners directly for more information.
We currently work regularly with the following PetFix Partners:
Back Streets Rescue, Ashtabula - (440) 789-9423 (call or text)
Ashtabula APL (Cats ONLY)
Neighborhood Pets Outreach and Resource Center, (low-income, Cleveland and E. Cleveland residents only)
Geauga Humane Society - Fix it in the Farmland (low-income, Geauga Co. residents only)
